William "Fraser" Michie Wilson

Peacefully at Brightshores Health Services, Owen Sound on October 25, 2025. Born in Owen Sound on February 11, 1940, Fraser was 85.
Husband of Diane Wilson (Jones) for 62 years. Father of Scott (Cathy) of Owen Sound and Kim Rigney (Monte) of Singhampton. Proud grandpa of Wilson (Taylor) and Everett Rigney. Fraser will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, and close friends. Predeceased by his parents William and Mertie Wilson and his sisters Mary Stock and Audrey Cruickshank.
Fraser was a long-time musician (drummer) playing with numerous dance bands back in the day. He was a proud life member, past president and manager of The Blue Water Curling Club. Also, Fraser was a long-standing member of Branch 6 Royal Canadian Legion and Crescent Athletic Club. He was employed by The City of Owen Sound and the Ontario Government in the Assessment Division for over 38 years.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St., W, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
A private family interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
