Wilda Beatrice Duff

Peacefully at Brightshores Health System Owen Sound, on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Born in Owen Sound on Tuesday, January 27, 1931, Wilda Beatrice Duff (nèe Newton) of Owen Sound, was in her 95th year.
Beloved wife for 63 years of the late Tommy Duff. Loving mother of Paul Duff of Alberta, Catherine Funston of Stratford, Susan Hindle (Bob) of Big Bay, Anna Stickle (Bruce) of Stratford, Nancy Drader (Richard) of Alberta and Scott Duff of Toronto. Cherished grandma of Robert (Youn Jin), Steven (Caroline), Jennifer (Sid), Ryan (Candace), Mark (Ada), Jason (Stephanie), Travis (Larissa), Alistair and Ainsleigh. Proud great grandma of 16 great grandchildren. Wilda will also be missed by her nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Howard and Lena Newton, brother Vernon Newton, and by her son-in-law Allan Funston.
A heartfelt thank you to Summit Place staff especially at the Lodge, the caring doctors and nurses at Brightshores Hospital in Owen Sound, and to Dr. Heather Gladwell for her kind and professional care of Wilda and her family.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 12 p.m., with visitation 1 hour prior. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home.
