Peacefully at London Health Science Center on February 18th 2026.  Born in Wiarton on September 1st, Sabrina Leah Ormsby of Owen Sound, was in her 49th year.

Beloved wife of David Greenfield of Owen Sound.  Loving mother of Georgia, Alexandra and Samuel Ormsby-Greenfield. Loving daughter of Len and Debbie (nee Courtney) Ormsby of Owen Sound. Dear sister of Niki Ormsby (Jason Greensides) of Owen Sound. Cherished granddaughter of Sharon Courtney and daughter-in-law to John and Joan Greenfield, sister-in-law of Sara Kumbalavelil (Robert) and Stephen Greenfield. She will be missed by her godmother Judy Blackstock and her godbrother Nolan Blackstock. Sabrina will also be missed by her nieces and nephews Ciara and Wesley Ormsby-Greensides, Joshua, Nadia, Elianna Kumbalavelil and friends.

Predeceased by her brother Tony Ormsby, grandparents Otto and Rhoda Ormsby, Frank Courtney and by her cousins Christopher Courtney and Jennifer Fraser.

Sabrina lived her life with love, with kindness and with an awareness of what others needed without it being communicated to her. She dedicated herself to her family and friends. Beanie had this uncanny ability to make you look at life in a different way. To make you look at the world in a kinder and softer way, she loved fiercely, found joy in even the small things. Her children were her pride and joy. Froster Fridays with the kids, debating politics, and teasing her family and friends. Sabrina loved travelling. She enjoyed meeting new people on her travels and discovering different ways of life. Sabrina had always wanted to hike the Bruce Trail and it was a future plan she had made with her daughter Georgia. Sabrina and the kids loved to crank up the music and sing and dance. Her dimpled smile would light up a room. Her time with us wasn’t as long as we wanted, but the imprint she left on the world was deep.

A come and go memorial visitation to celebrate Sabrina’s Life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Monday March 2nd, 2026, from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m., with words of remembrance at 4:15 p.m.
