Ruby Iola Hanley

After a full and beautiful life, at Rockwood Terrace on Saturday, September 30, 2023 in her 97th year.Predeceased by husband Ben. Loving mother of Robert(Judy) of Feversham, Rosemary(Doug) Biehn of Burlington, Jack of Eugenia, Jim(Cindy) of Maxwell, Patricia Boivin of Williamsford and Gayle Watson of Orangeville. Ruby is fondly remembered by 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is greatly missed by sister Vivian Woodhouse of Waterloo and niece Joan Pritchard. Predeceased by sister Evelyn Pritchard and son-in-law Mike Boivin.
Ruby was well known in her community for being a feisty lady who was never afraid to share her opinion, always out of love of course. She cherished her family deeply. Ruby lived for church and card games, especially bridge.
The family will receive friends at Fawcett Funeral Home (1 Highland Drive, Flesherton) on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Service from Gentle Shepherd Community Church (426176 Concession Road 8, Flesherton) on Wednesday at 11am. Interment Salem Cemetery.
