On Saturday, July 19, 2025 in his 58th year, Bob passed away at Brightshores Hospital in Owen Sound. He is survived by his mother Helen (nee Murray), sister Brenda and nephew Matthew Torrie. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place with no memorial service. A celebration of life will be held. Bob didn’t want sadness, but joy.

Bob loved trucks and trucking, toy collecting, Jack Daniels, all things farming (especially anything associated with the Kobe clan) and most importantly family and friends.

He was always up for a meal and a chat or a helping hand to get another driver that much further down the road. The phone calls. lf you know, you know driver.

The toys collecting and displays and the journeys and memories that came with them.

His collection of Jack Daniels and his obvious disappointment if he didn’t get his yearly Christmas tin, although we all tried!

And farming, the pictures, the stories and the memories of his youth spending time at the farm helping with haying and being around family.

Family and friends meant the world to him and those lucky enough to fall into this category, well you know what you meant to him. No further words are needed.
