Rita DeBrincat (nee. Refalo) peacefully passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, at the age of 73 with her husband of 54 years, John, by her side.

Beloved mother of Michael, Josephine and her husband Kyle DesLauriers.

Proud Nanna of Joseph, Jack & Adriana.

Rita will be fondly remembered by many family and friends around the world as an incredible person with a beautiful soul that shined through her smile and warm embrace.

Visitation to be held Thursday May 28 at 4pm and 7pm at the Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas St W, Toronto

Funeral Mass for Rita will be held at the St. Paul The Apostle Church, 3224 Dundas St W, Toronto Saturday May 30^th at 10:30am.

Memorial donations to the Sunnybrook Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
