Peacefully, with family by his side, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound, in his 72^nd year. Rick, beloved husband of Donna (nee Wright). Loving father of Dr. Katherine Brown.

Predeceased by his infant daughter Christina, his parents Dr. Frank Halstead Brown Jr. and Lucille (nee Nelson), and his infant sister Bonnie.

Rick will be remembered for his integrity, determination, hard work and humour.

Friends and family may gather on Monday, March 2nd, 2026 starting at 6:00 pm and are invited to join a funeral service at 7:00 pm at Brown Family Funeral Home, 1 – 900 10^th Street West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Brightshores Health System Owen Sound Foundation or the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter would be appreciated by the family.
