Murray Boyd McKechnie

Peacefully, with family by his side on Thursday, October 9, 2025 in his 80th year. Murray, loving brother of Bruce McKechnie and his wife Patricia, Mary and her husband Matt Proskie, and Betty McKechnie. Predeceased by his parents William McKechnie and Florence (nee Smith), sister Rebecca Schildroth, and brother Kenneth McKechnie. Murray will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, October 15, 2015 at 11am. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
