Peacefully at WHRN: St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener on September 9, 2026, passed after a sudden heart attack.

Loving husband of Deanne (McMillen) and treasured father to Mark (Renee) of Whitby and Christian (Channalee) of Sarnia. Much Loved FarFar of Annika, Fionn, Isabelle and Jakob. Dear brother of Jenny (Kurt) Buchhave of Mors, Denmark, uncle of Soren (Mai), Trine (Thomas and their children Anna, Laerke), Jan (and his daughters Jennifer, Melissa, and their mother Tanja) and predeceased by his sister, Kirstine and nephew Keld. He will be missed by all his family and friends in Denmark and Canada.

A proud resident and community member of Markdale, ON where he was the General Manager of Nordic Furniture and a passionate sailor who was a member of the Wiarton Yacht Club for many years. His caring and kind personality touched many people within his community, his business and his personal life.

There will be a Come and Go Celebration of Life on Saturday September 26 at 1pm-3pm at the Fawcett Funeral Home, 1 Highland Dr, Flesherton ON.

Cremation has taken place and Knud will be laid to rest at the Markdale Cemetery.
