John “Jack” Helmuth Hill suddenly at the Brightshores Health System – Owen Sound late Tuesday, September 8th, 2026.

Jack Hill of Wiarton in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Laura Hill (nee McGarvey). Cherished stepfather of Gayle Sadler (William Milne) and Gregory Porter. Much loved grandfather of Dawn Sadler. Dear brother of Doug Hill (Wanda) and brother-in-law of Dorothy Hill. Special uncle to Trevor, Chris, and Darren, missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Edna (nee Chapman) and Helmuth Conrad Hill, stepsons Danny Porter (Michelle), Barry Porter, Randy Porter, brother Roger Hill, and sister Catherine Walker (George).

Jack was born at the Hill home, and remained a lifelong resident of Wiarton. He was an incredibly talented woodworker who made a career in the boat building, marine and RV business.

Friends and Family are invited to share memories at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, WIARTON on Monday, September 14, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment Bayview Cemetery.
