A long-time resident of Owen Sound, John in his 88th year passed away peacefully after living a long and fulfilling life. Beloved husband and predeceased by his wife Norma (nee Gole) of 56 years. Loving father to John (Linda) Mueller, Luke (Leigh-Anne) Mueller, and Tracy Mueller. Adored grandfather to Mercedes (Keegan), Brayden (Jessica), Merissa (Kent), Brenden (Ashley), Blythe, Hayden (Sarah), Grayson, Tobin, and Owen. Survived by his long-time friends Donald Keeling and Andy Klein.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Sara Mueller, and his brother Michael and wife Sophie.

Born in a small village in Zuckmantel, Romania the Mueller family emigrated to Canada in 1952 eventually finding their way to Kitchener, Ontario. In 1958 John married his wife Norma and in 1967 they decided to make the move to Owen Sound where they raised their 3 children.

John enjoyed his work and had a passion for many hobbies. He was a skilled sheet metal fabricator and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. In the middle part of his life, he was known for designing and building roof cupolas. Then in the latter part of his life began making unique creations out of galvanized metal and copper: beautiful lighthouses, churches, windmills, stars, birdbaths and flower stands. His lifelong passion was always music. He was a talented musician who often could be found playing one of his many instruments, including guitar, dobro, mandolin, banjo, accordion, pan flute and harmonicas.

John was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all of those who knew him as a kind and generous soul who lived a very fulfilling life.
