It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jeff on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Orillia Solider’s Memorial Hospital, of Collingwood in his 47th year. Beloved son of Greg and Nancy(nee Hanley) of Singhampton. Cherished brother of Amy and uncle of Bryn and Kira Seeley all of Feversham. Dear nephew of Beverley(Clint) Havens of Balzac, AB, Sandra Dayler of Midland, Shawn Welsch of Sherwood Park, AB, Gayle(Larry) Hammill of Orangeville, Catherine(Dave) McKinnon of Stayner and Darryl(Gloria) of Perry Sound. He will be missed by many cousins and friends.
Jeff was born March 4, 1979 at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. He attended Osprey Community School and graduated from Grey Highlands Secondary School in 1997, following which he attended Sir Sanford Fleming for fish and wildlife. Fishing was his favorite hobby and loved to cook for himself or anyone who wanted to join him.
He loved to be around people and share experiences with others. His previous job was working in a Thai food restaurant and enjoyed every minute he was there. He most recently was working in retail at Home Hardware in Collingwood and became good friends with many of his coworkers that he spoke of fondly.
Jeff was an old soul and a very caring person that saw all of the good in the world, and in every person.
A celebration of life will take place at Osprey Community Hall on Sunday, June 22 from 1:00-3:30pm, with memories shared at 2:00pm. Cremation has taken place, interment Maxwell Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Kidney Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
