Peacefully, with family by her side at Chapman House – Grey Bruce Hospice, Owen Sound on Friday, November 14, 2025 in her 76th year. Janet, beloved wife of Robert. Loving stepmother of Carol and her husband John Webb. Proud grandmother of Austin, Braedon, Carmen, and Clover. Beloved great-grandma to Chad and Avery. Dear sister of Joyce and her husband Bert McCallum; Aunt to Kerry and sister-in-law of Vicky and her partner John Tan.
Janet lived her life in service to her community as an RN for 42 years in the GTA before moving to Southampton to retire with her soulmate.
Friends will be received on Friday, November 28, 2025 from 12:00pm until the time of the service at 1:00pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. Interment Southampton Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Grey Bruce Hospice Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
