Jane Dobie of Tara, passed away at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, in her 92nd year.
Loving mother of Steve (Elizabeth Deburgh) of Belwood and Scott (Tamara) of Arthur. Cherished grandmother of Anya and Barrett. Dear sister of Robert (Georgia) Brunton of Tennessee. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Jane was predeceased by her husband Harold, her brother Bob Trelford, and her parents Norman and Eleanor (Brunton) Trelford.
A memorial service honouring Jane’s life will be held at Christ Church, Tara on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 12 noon, with visitation one hour prior. Private inurnment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Christ Church Tara, Chesley Hospital Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
