Peacefully at his home in Shallow Lake on Monday September 22nd, 2025. Doug was in his 92nd year having been born in Owen Sound on October 2nd, 1933.
He was the beloved husband of Lillian Rogers (nee McKinnon) of Shallow Lake. Loving father to Stephen, Jessica, Chris, Joel, Erica and bonus father and poppa and uncle Doug too many others. Grandfather of Sam, Madison, Tyson, Joshua, and Olivia and dear brother of Betty Whalen.
Predeceased by his parents Alma (nee Neely) and Jim Rogers, stepmother Mabel Rogers, sister Dolly Peterman, and brothers Ivan Rogers and Paul Rogers (Irene).
The funeral service will be conducted from the Shallow Lake United Church on Friday, September 26th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth.
