We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our sweet mother peacefully with family by her side at Brightshores Health System – Owen Sound on Wednesday February 18th, 2026. Born in Collingwood on May 11th, 1943, Diane Naylor (nee Moore) of Owen Sound, was in her 83rd year.

Loving mother of Mervin Swannell (Catherine), of Meaford, Alvin Swannell (Joanne), of Collingwood and Marlene Zevenbergen (Jack) of Shallow Lake. Cherished grandma of Rebecka (Jason), Miranda (Jeremy), Chad, Courtney, Ashley (Tony), Travis (Devon), Dylan (Raven), Jake (Mikayla), Nicole (Jesse) and great-grandma of Payton ,Brady, Bennett, Bryce, Jason, Marissa, Linkin, Walter, Zachary, Isla and Walton. Dear sister of Elaine, Don and Lynda. Diane will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and special friends John Schneider and Bill Koert.

Predeceased by her husband Ted Naylor, parents Mervin and Evelyn (Stephens) Moore and her in-laws Allan and Katie (VanWyck) Naylor.
Visitation will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Tuesday February 24th, from 6 – 8 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Diane’s life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday February 25th at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. A reception will follow. For those unable to attend in person, a recorded version will be posted online.
