TWINING, Bonita (Bonnie) (nee Veitel) 78, of Sauble Beach passed away early April 27, 2026, with family close to her. She was born to parents William and Orkney Veitel August 7, 1947 in Kitchener.

Bonnie graduated from high school and received a Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo. Bonnie gave her service to Enbridge/Consumers Gas for over 31 years starting as a co-op student while attending Waterloo.

She was married to John in 1985 and spent their time together in Sauble Beach, eventually retiring there.

Bonnie is survived by her husband John of Sauble Beach, daughter Laura (

Vincent), of New Hamburg, grandchildren Tristan, Tyson, Zayne, Ember and Dominik and sister-in-law Joanne (Gary) Carter of Vancouver. Predeceased by her older sister Gail Gleadhill of Hunstville and brother Larry Veitel (Bev) of Toronto. She will be greatly missed by her dear friends and family.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Sauble Beach United Church on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Arrangements entrusted to the Downs & Son Funeral Home, Hepworth.
