Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, at his home in Chatsworth on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the age of 63.

Best friends and companion of Tania Grafner. Dear brother of Joan Morris-McMahon, Carol (Bev) Routenburg, Barb Terry, John (Karen) Wellwood, Wayne(Brenda) Specht, Wendy(Mike) Pigeon, Richard (Cathy) Wellwood and Laurie(John) Haynes. Survived by sister-in-law Velma Specht and Mary Specht, and brother-in-law Layne(Fran) Ross.

Predeceased by brother Jake, Terry, Donald Specht and Bob Wellwood and sister Wanda Ross. Fondly remembered by Ron(Lori) Heartman and family. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He enjoyed his pets; dogs, hunting with his friends and family, farm life. He was greatly appreciative for the continued support of his chum Ron and family. He had a passion for fixing tractors. He enjoyed Neyaashiinigmiing and spending time on the beach with his companion Tania. Many nights around the fire singing, laughing and enjoying life.

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter would be greatly appreciated. Online donations and condolences at www.fawcettfuneralhome.ca
