Peacefully, on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Brightshores Health System, Southampton in his 87th year.
Alfred, loving father of Gerry Merritt and his wife Mary-Ann. Proud Grandfather of Sarah (Jeffrey), and Kathleen (Thomas). Great Grandfather of Joshua, Hannah, Levi, Mayson, and Elijah. Sadly missed by his sister Catherine Pasarich and her fiancé Ian Woods, and brothers Robert Lawrence Green, and Thomas Edward Green (Ted). Alfred will be fondly remembered by his niece Angela Pasarich, and nephew Aaron Green.
Friends were received on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 12:00pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00pm at the Brown Family Funeral Home (formerly Tannahill Funeral Home) 1178 4th Ave West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710. Interment Mount Zion Cemetery, Chatsworth.
