The start of M.S. Chi-Cheemaun ferry season has been postponed until further notice due to Covid.
According to a Ministry of Transportation notice on the Owen Sound Transportation Company’s website (OSTC), the ferry, which travels between Tobermory and Manitoulin Island, was supposed to become operational by May 7th.
The company states all reservations that have been affected by this delay have been officially cancelled. Those who have made bookings will be contacted and assisted in rescheduling transportation for a later date.
Be advised, between May 1st and the 20th, reservation services will be unavailable to allow for cancellations and rebooking to be processed.
The company says reservations will re-open on May 15th.
