Provincial Police have charged a teen with impaired driving and other offences after a single-vehicle collision just outside of Owen Sound.
Grey Bruce OPP say they were called to Inglis Falls Road in Georgian Bluffs around 10:30 p.m. Monday night after a vehicle struck a tree.
Thankfully, the driver wasn’t hurt.
Owen Sound Police also assisted at the scene.
Grey Bruce OPP say they arrested and charged a 19-year-old Owen Sound man after conducting an impaired driving investigation at the scene. The teen is charged with operation while impaired, dangerous operation, obstruct peace officer, and public mischief.
An image released by the OPP appears to show the accused driver had cans of alcohol in the front passenger area of the car.
Police say the accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound in December.
