Voter information letters have been mailed out in several Bruce County municipalities.
Arran-Elderslie, Brockton, Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss and Saugeen Shores issued news releases Monday morning confirming the documents should be arriving in mailboxes this week.
They say the letters contain unique personal identification numbers required to cast a ballot in the 2026 municipal and school board election.
Voting in Brockton, Arran-Elderslie, Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss and Saugeen Shores opens on Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. and closes at 8 p.m. on election day, Monday, Oct. 26.
Electors may vote online or by telephone at any time during the voting period, paper ballots will not be available.
Voter help centres are located at the following addresses:
– Arran-Elderslie: 1925 Bruce Road 10, Chesley
– Brockton: 100 Scott Street, Walkerton
– Saugeen Shores: 600 Tomlinson Drive, Port Elgin
– Kincardine: 1475 Concession 5, Kincardine
– Huron-Kinloss: 21 Queen Street, Ripley
If residents have not received their voter letters in Saugeen Shores by Oct. 7, in Brockton, Huron-Kinloss and Kincardine by Oct. 9, and in Arran-Elderslie by Oct. 13, contact your local clerk’s department.
