Saugeen Shores police say a prison inmate reported missing could be in Saugeen Shores.
Kingston police say they are actively searching for Mason Jenkins, who was unaccounted for during the 11:15 a.m. count at the minimum-security unit of Collins Bay Institution on September 24th.
They say 49-year-old Jenkins is described as a white male, 5’9, weighing about 255 lbs with a fair complexion, brown eyes and brown hair, currently shaved bald.
They say Jenkins was last seen wearing a light green jacket, blue jeans and rubber boots.
Jenkins is currently serving a life sentence for first degree murder and possession of a scheduled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Kingston Police say anyone with information about Jenkins’ whereabouts is asked to contact Kingston Police at 613-549-4660 ext. “0”
They say, “If seen do not approach and contact 9-1-1 immediately. Do not call 911 for information or updates.”
