It is with heavy hearts that the family of William Donald Lang announce his passing at Brightshores Health System Owen Sound on July 26th, 2026. Born and raised in Owen Sound, Bill was in his 90th year.

Beloved husband of Mary and the late Wilda (Red) Lang. Proud dad of Gord (Judy), and loved stepdad of Laura (Andrew), Marylou (Barry), Rick (Jen), and their families. Treasured grandpa of Garrett (Silva), and great-grandpa of Selene. Bill will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and his many friends.
Bill is predeceased by his parents Bill and Florence Lang; and his sisters Dorothy (Cliff) Mills, Betty (Carl) Cook, Sharon (Bob) Morris, Pat (Jim) Kellar, and Peggy (Rodger) Tennant.

Bill has left his family and friends with such special memories and countless stories of his life’s adventures. From his younger days of Cadets, taking flying lessons, becoming a certified scuba diver, playing and coaching baseball and hockey, to being an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a dedicated employee at RBW Graphics starting when he was 16 in 1953, retiring after 41 years in 1994.

In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 15th, 2026, at the Best Western Inn on the Bay, 1800 2nd Ave. E., Owen Sound, from 1–4 p.m. for all family and friends to attend and share a story or two.
