Peacefully at the Owen Sound Hospital on Friday, July 31, 2026. Born in Owen Sound, Ontario, Marie Idell McManaman (nee Earhart) was in her 95th year.

Beloved wife of the late Bill McManaman. Loving mother of Myles (Gillian), Patrick (Sandra), Jim (Kelly), and Ryan (Amanda), all of Owen Sound. Cherished Grandma of Liam, Emma, Emily (Jon), Andrea, Connor, Lucas, Kate, Michael and Jeffrey.

Predeceased by her parents Bill and Emma Earhart (nee Hutchison), her dear sister Faye Earhart and her mother-in-law Kay McManaman (nee Quillinan).

Parish Prayers will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. followed by visitation from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s & The Missions Catholic Church, 554 15th St E, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. John Schnurr officiating, followed by a reception at the church hall. Interment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery following the reception.
