A fire ban is in effect in West Grey.
The municipality says the total fire ban covers all open-air burning, including outdoor recreational fires such as campfires.
“This ban will remain in effect until further notice. All active burn permits are suspended, and no new permits will be issued until the ban is lifted,” a release from the municipality of West Grey says.
