Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Brightshores Health System – Owen Sound on April 30th, 2026.
Donna Arlene Miner (née Bumstead), born July 3, 1947, was in her 79th year.
Beloved wife and best friend of 59 years to William “Alan” Miner. Loving mother of Kim (Kevin) Donnelly of Sauble Beach and Amy (Ryan) Hollister of Durham. Cherished Nana to Dylan (Tori) Donnelly, Brodie (Abby) Donnelly, Adam Marritt, Alexis Hollister, and Caleb Hollister. Extremely proud Great-Nana of Watson and Anna.
Donna will be dearly missed by her siblings, Diane (Dwayne) Lobban of Wiarton, Jim (Betty) Bumstead of Wiarton, and Jeanette (Steve) Hamel-White of Southampton, as well as her brother-in-law Jerry Kreuger of Sauble Beach. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law Betty Kreuger, sister-in-law Mary Woods and her husband Keith Woods, and brother-in-law Gary White, she will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Donna was the eldest child of the late Walter and Emma Bumstead.
Donna spent 37 years working at TD Bank, where she built many lifelong friendships. She was known for her wonderful sense of humour—always playing jokes and sharing laughs with both colleagues and clients.
Donna loved life on the farm in Kemble, where she and Alan made their home for over 52 years. It was truly where she was happiest, especially among her beautiful row of lilac trees, which she cherished deeply. She also enjoyed many years of camping and travelling with Al, creating countless memories together.
Donna will forever be remembered for her quick wit, her warm spirit, and the laughter she brought to everyone around her.
In keeping with Donna’s wishes, a casual come-and-go celebration of her wonderful life will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Cobble Beach Pavilion.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the Kemble Lions Club or Parkinson Canada. Arrangements entrusted to Grey Bruce Cremation and Burial Services..
