The West Grey Police Service says a significant conviction has been secured following an extensive sex crimes investigation.
Sixty-five-year-old Norman Boyce of West Grey has been sentenced to 12 years in custody after being convicted in the Ontario Court of Justice.
The convictions include three counts of sexual interference and two counts of making sexually explicit material available to a child.
Police say the offences occurred over an extended period between 2012 and 2025 within the Municipality of West Grey.
In addition to the prison sentence, the court ordered several conditions, including a DNA order, a 10-year firearms prohibition, a 25-year non-association order with the victims, and a prohibition on communicating with any person under the age of 16.
West Grey Police say the investigation required significant time, resources and dedication from officers.
The service also acknowledged the strength and courage of the victims, saying their willingness to come forward was instrumental in advancing the investigation and securing a conviction.
Police say they remain committed to investigating offences of this nature and encourage anyone with information or concerns to contact the West Grey Police Service.
