Grey Bruce OPP is continuing its investigation into a series of break and enter occurrences in South Bruce Peninsula.
On Tuesday, April 21st, police were called to a possible break and enter in progress at a home on Howdenvale Road, east of Huron Road.
Officers found that a number of homes in the area had also been forcibly entered, and containment was established.
Police had assistance from the OPP Aviation Unit, Canine Unit, and Emergency Response Team.
During the search, police recovered a pickup truck that had been reported missing from Wiarton earlier in the day.
The OPP has not located the suspect, but have released a photo that may help identifying the individual.
It’s believed that the suspect is in possession of a stolen ATV. Police are advising that if you see the individual or the vehicle to not approach, and to call 911 immediately.
