The City of Owen Sound is advising residents and commuters of upcoming road construction on 9th Avenue East.
Work is scheduled to begin Monday, April 13, 2026, and will take place between 6th Street East and Superior Street.
During construction, motorists can expect lane reductions in the area. In addition, Superior Street will be closed at 9th Avenue East for the duration of the project.
City officials are asking drivers to use caution and allow extra time when travelling through the construction zone.
There are no anticipated impacts to public transit routes or bus stops.
The reconstruction project is expected to be completed by Fall 2026.
