Applications for the 2026 Starter Company Plus Program are open in Grey County.
Small business owners and budding entrepreneurs can now apply.
This program is funded by the government of Ontario and presented by the Grey County Business Enterprise Centre. This program is designed for entrepreneurs who are 18 or older and not returning to school.
The program begins in May with hands-on business training and building of professional skills.
There will also be some mentorship opportunities from local business leaders.
After the participants present their ideas to a review committee, a winner may be selected and given a $5,000 grant for expansion and start-up costs.
The online application is on www.grey.ca/bec and applications will close April 19th, 2026.
