The Township of Georgian Bluffs has closed a section of West Street due to a washout and sinkhole.
West Street is shut down between Grey Road 17B and Vault Works Road. The issue is located approximately 50 metres south of 160 West Street and has been secured with barricades.
Officials say there is currently no emergency access through the affected area.
Residents and motorists are being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes while crews work to address the situation.
There is no timeline yet for when the road will reopen. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
