Roger passed away peacefully with family by his side after a brief illness at Brightshores Health System Owen Sound, on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Born in Kitchener, Ontario on August 30, 1962, Roger Boyce Wright of Owen Sound, was in his 64th year.

Cherished son of Arlene and the late Gary Wright. Loving brother of Lori Robinson (Garry), and Krista MacKinnon (Jeff). Dear uncle of Christopher Robinson, Matthew Robinson (Linda), Mac MacKinnon (Katie), Whitney Peckham (Theo), Cameron MacKinnon (Ami), and of many great-nieces and great-nephews. Roger will also be missed by his many friends.

Roger was a dedicated and proud employee of the LCBO. He enjoyed playing Sunday morning hockey with the SMHLPA and he loved his dogs dearly.

A very special thank you to the paramedics, emergency staff, Dr. Suni Johnson, and ICU staff at Brightshores Health System Owen Sound for their exceptional care of Roger.

In keeping with Roger’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
