Peacefully with her family by her side at Chapman House on Thursday, March 19, 2026. Born in Owen Sound on February 24, 1947, Jeannette Carol Hall (nee Robertson) was in her 80th year.

Beloved wife for 58 years of Thomas Hall of Owen Sound. Loving mother of Andrew Hall (Edith) of St. Catherines and Wayne Hall (Christine) of Georgian Bluffs. Cherished grandma of Cole, Abby, Brianna and Ethan. Dear sister of Ian Robertson of Tara and sister-in-law of Gary von Keitz of Owen Sound. Jeannette will also be missed by her nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Robert and Edith Robertson, and by her sister Elizabeth von Keitz.

Jeannette began her career as a registered nurse before becoming an integral part of the family business, Tom Hall Refrigeration, where she worked until its sale in 2008. Above all, she was a devoted mother and grandmother who treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. In her quieter hours, she found peace in caring for her flowerbeds, taking joy in nurturing the gardens she loved.

A funeral service to celebrate Jeannette’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., with visitation from 1:00 – 2:45 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be livestreamed with a recorded version posted online. Spring Interment will take place in Hillcrest Cemetery.
