The Bruce County Public Library is holding fun, family-friendly events during March Break.
There will be a number of events taking place at the library’s 17 branches throughout the county, and several branches will be hosting multiple events in a day.
“Every day during March Break, there is more than one program [taking place] at more than one of our branches,” said BCPL assistant director Joanna Griffith.
The Amazing Andy will be visiting both the Tara and Mildmay branches during the week to perform magic shows.
Griffith also explained that they also like to incorporate programs that get children interested in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
“There’s a Magical Creatures program, and a Science is Magic program,” she said. “We like to bring in STEM activities in some of our programs as well, to expand from literacy to science, and other fun things.”
Some events have limited space, so registration may be required.
