The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority says the Teeswater River is flooding in Pinkerton.
They say erosion of Bruce County Road 15 in Pinkerton has been observed, and the road could be damaged as a result. Flood conditions could exist for an extended duration as water levels in the Teeswater River remain high.
The conservation authority says, residents of Pinkerton are should closely monitor conditions and follow direction from municipal and county staff and emergency services.
They say local municipalities are the first to respond to and assist with flood emergencies, adding, “If you experience a flood emergency and are in danger, please call 911.”
The Flood Warning message for Silver Creek remains in effect, and the conservation authority says though conditions are beginning to improve in this area as water levels begin to drop. Residents should continue to monitor conditions closely in this area. Flood Watch remains in effect for rest of Saugeen watershed.
