Peacefully, with family by her side on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Brightshores Health System, Southampton in her 89th year.

Marjorie (nee Patterson), loving wife of the late John Bolander. Beloved mom of Carol and her late husband Brian Brusso, the late Ken MacDonald, the late Brad MacDonald, Gail and her husband Tom Linton, Murray MacDonald and his partner Marla, David Bolander and his wife Lori, and Donnie Bolander. Proud Gramma of Steven (Morgan), Mike (Leah), Scott (Julie), Kenny, Greg (Amy), Jeremy, Darren (Shelby), Chris (Kaylea), and Nicole (Kyle) Great Nana of 14. Marjorie will be fondly remembered by the many kids she babysat and their families. Deeply missed by her best friend Nancy Paul.

A Celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm with words of remembrance at 5:00pm, at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 340, 630 Green Street, Port Elgin.

Memorial donations to the Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated by the family.
