Peacefully, on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound in her 95^th year. Pat, loving wife of the late Ross Walker Leigh. Former spouse of the late Douglas Finlay and beloved mother of Dean Finlay and his wife Cynthia, Chris Finlay and his wife Eva, and Kathleen Finlay. Proud Grandma of Caitlin (Tyler), Aden (Helmi), Christian, Connor, Nova, and Liam. Predeceased by her siblings Allen, John, Jim, and Mary.

Patricia was born and raised in Dunnville, Ontario. She graduated from Ryerson Institute of Technology with a diploma in Child Management in 1954.  Upon graduation, Pat worked with children at the Ontario Crippled Children’s Camp (now known as Easter Seals) at Blue Mountain.  She continued to help local vulnerable populations through her volunteer work with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) in several roles, Community Living, and Habitat for Humanity.

Pat worked at the Black-Clawson-Kennedy foundry and the County of Grey. She met Ross Leigh while volunteering with the CMHA.  They married in 1983 and travelled throughout Europe, Canada and RV’d throughout the U.S.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 1:00pm until the time of the service at 2:00pm, followed by a reception immediately afterwards at the Brown Family Funeral Home, 1- 900 10^th Street West, Owen Sound, 519-376-3710.

Memorial donations to Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce, CMHA Grey Bruce, or Safe ‘N Sound are gratefully appreciated.
