Unexpectedly at Owen Sound Hospital on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Allyn Johnston of Hepworth in his 73rd year.

Beloved husband of the late Lynda Johnston (nee Galbraith). Dear brother-in-law of Gerry Galbraith of Port Elgin. Cherished uncle of Jamie Kuhl (Dale), Jennifer Armstrong (Ryan) and Scott McDougald (Samantha).

Predeceased by parents Doris (nee Binns) and Lloyd Johnston and sister Jan Marshall.

Allyn will be remembered as an avid cyclist and walker around town, and a trusty handyman that was eager to tackle any project. He would spend his travels around town, picking up trinkets and bringing them home to create something new. He had a natural gift for invention and resourcefulness and enjoyed upgrading everyday items to make them more functional, or create something new that could help a friend. His adventurous and creative spirit will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Park Head United Church at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow at the Park Head Community Centre. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery at a later date.
