June Trask, recently of Lee Manor Owen Sound and formerly of Harriston, transitioned peacefully surrounded by family into the presence of her Saviour on Wednesday, October 8,2025, in her ninety-eighth year.
Predeceased by her loving husband Raymond Trask. Mother of Shirley and Wayne Lester of Goderich, Connie and David Oppertshauser of Allenford, Brenda McLean-Rae and Les Rae of Harriston, and Robert and Kyle Trask of Allenford.
Grandmother of Shawn and Carolyn Lester, Tammy and Steven Gower, Ron and Kim Oppertshauser, Susan and Dan Barbera, Robin and Shawn Spence, Robert and Sheerah McLean, Ryan McLean, Colleen and Andy Seaman, David and Lori Trask, and Bobbi and Shawn Ropp, great-grandmother of twenty, and great-great-grandmother of one.
Sister of Don Rogers and Carol, and Audrey and Milt (deceased) Thomas. Predeceased by brothers George, Jack, Jim, Bill, Lloyd Rogers, and by sisters Vi Stonehouse, Marg Witzel, Florence Groshaw, and Marie Rogers.
June served faithfully for many years in her church and enjoyed playing games with children and grandchildren. Her hobbies included painting, crafts, and puzzles. She and the family enjoyed several years of camping.
The funeral service will be held at White’s Road Pentecostal Church, Harriston, on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation at the church from noon until time of funeral service. There will be a family graveside service at Harriston Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
Memorial donations to Community Foundation Grey/Bruce (June Trask Feeding Families Fund) or Tytoo Gardens Canada (A ministry to the children of Haiti) will be appreciated and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home Harriston.
