Bruce County is holding a household hazardous waste collection event in Lucknow next week.
On Sept. 6, residents on invited to attend the Bruce County Transportation Yard at 545 Ludgard Street from 8 a.m. to noon to dispose of their hazardous waste.
Waste including paints and stains, propane tanks, batteries, oil filters, solvents, and more will be accepted.
Commercial, agricultural, and industrial waste will not be accepted, as well as PCB’s, ammunitions and flares.
Additionally, only containers with a volume of 30 litres or less will be accepted.
