Iola Betty Keeling

Peacefully at Lee Manor on Monday, August 11, 2025. Born in Chatsworth on Friday, July 29, 1932, Iola Betty Keeling (nèe Galbraith) of Owen Sound, was in her 94th year.
Beloved wife and best friend of the late William Keeling for 61 years. Greatly missed and much loved by her daughter, Darlene Weston (Mark) of Owen Sound. Cherished grandmother of Melissa Beldman (Will), and Craig Weston (Kristie) both of London, Ontario. Treasured great-grandmother of Oliver and Alice Beldman; and Adalynn and Harper Weston. Iola will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Eva Galbraith (Wallace), her sister Fran MacWilliam (Harold), her parents-in-law Perry and Sadie Keeling (Catto), and all her Keeling siblings-in-law.
Iola and Bill were the proud owners of A-1 Cleaning Service, serving the Grey Bruce area for 52 years. Iola was a devoted and faithful member of the First Baptist Church, Owen Sound for many years. Iola often found joy in her spare time knitting and visiting with her dear friends, but nothing compared to the love and happiness she shared by spending time surrounded by her family.
Iola’s family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Singh and the compassionate staff at Lee Manor for their exceptional care.
In keeping with Iola’s wishes, a private family funeral service will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the First Baptist Church of Owen Sound, or to the Grey Bruce Hospice Foundation – Chapman House, are appreciated.
