An update from the OPP about the police investigation that closed Grey Road 4 near Flesherton this morning.
Grey Bruce OPP say they responded to a report of a possible impaired driver in the area of Grey Road 4 and Concession 2 in Grey Highlands around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
“The vehicle, a black Dodge Ram pickup, was reportedly driving erratically and swerving across lanes,” Grey Bruce OPP say in a release.
Police later located the vehicle and tried to pull it over, but the driver allegedly took off in his truck, fleeing from officers before crashing.
The driver, a 41-year-old Mississauga man, suffered minor injuries. He was arrested and charged with flight from police, dangerous operation and other offences.
Grey Road 4 was closed from Highway 10 in Flesherton to West Back Line for several hours early this morning, but has now re-opened.
