A heat warning continues in Bruce and Grey counties today.
Environment Canada says daytime highs will be around 32 C, with humidex values approaching 40.
“A cooler air mass is expected to arrive tonight, bringing an end to this heat event,” Environment Canada says in its warning.
Forecasters are reminding you to take action to minimize the risk of heat illness.
“Check on older adults, those living alone and other at-risk people in-person or on the phone multiple times a day,” Environment Canada says. “Watch for the early signs of heat exhaustion in yourself and others. Signs may include headache, nausea, dizziness, thirst, dark urine and intense fatigue. Stop your activity and drink water.”
