Peacefully at Lee Manor on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Born in Owen Sound on November 1, 1944, William John Norton of Owen Sound was in his 81st year.
Beloved husband for 48 years of Amelia Norton (nee Bautista) of Owen Sound. Loving father of Leanne Williamson (Grant) of Georgian Bluffs, William Norton (Megan Hopper) of Owen Sound and Dona Norton of Owen Sound. Cherished grandpa of Amanda (Brett), Andy, Cade and Quinn. Dear brother of James Norton (Sharon) of Shallow Lake, Stephen Norton of Mexico and Mary Dickson of Owen Sound. Bill will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Jack and Dona Norton, and by his brother-in-law Archie Dickson.
Cremation is taking place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
