Aulda Lucinda McCauley

Peacefully at Brightshores Health System Owen Sound, on Monday, April 21, 2025. Born in Heathcote on Monday, October 20, 1930, Aulda Lucinda McCauley (née Hewgill) of Owen Sound, was in her 95th year.
Beloved wife and best friend of the late Jack McCauley. Loving mother of Paul McCauley of Collingwood and Dianne Saunders (Bob) of Glencoe. Cherished Nan of Bradley, Matthew and Mark Saunders, Patrick McCauley, and Dustin Wallace, and great-grandmother of 5. Aulda will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Clifford and Edna Hewgill, her brothers Dick Hewgill and Ronald Hewgill, infant son Bradley, and special friend Bob Best.
Visitation will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Sunday April 27, 2024 from 2-5 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Aulda’s life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 11 a.m. with Roseanne Judge officiating. Interment in McLean’s Cemetery will follow a reception.
