Hanover’s annual council pay report for 2023 outlines what each elected member of council was paid for their work.
Mayor Sue Paterson was paid $37,904 for her work on Hanover council and had about $1,500 in council related travel expenses.
Deputy Mayor Warren Dickert was paid about $23,000 and had about $1,700 in travel expenses.
The other five members of council were paid between $18,693 and $18,993. Their travel and convention expenses ranged from $163 (Coun. Hocking) to $2,370 (Coun. Sakal).
In all, total council pay added up to just over $185,000. Expenses were just over $10,000.
