The Port Elgin Devils eliminated the Desboro Royals to earn a berth in the Grey Bruce Ladies Fastball League Championship.

The Devils got off to a solid start scoring 3 times in the top of the 1st inning on their way to a 10-4 victory over Desboro.
The win continued a remarkable run by Port Elgin who lost their first game in the double knockout playoff tournament on August 15th.
Following that opening game loss, the Devils have put together 4 straight elimination game victories to stay alive and gain their berth in the Championship.
Port Elgin will meet the Team Tedford at REMAX Gators September 7th in Allenford for the post season title.
