There’s a missing person search underway in the Lion’s Head area.
The OPP posted an advisory on social media Thursday night about an increased police presence in Lion’s Head Provincial Park for an investigation. Social media photos from the area show a helicopter flying near the Georgian Bay coast.

OPP Const. Nick Wilson confirms there’s a missing person search being conducted that will be resuming today. Police are asking people to avoid the area.
In a release, Grey Bruce OPP say they’re seeking assistance in locating a 22-year-old called Tyler who was last seen in Alymer yesterday morning. Police did not provide the missing person’s last name.
Tyler is now believed to be in the Lion’s Head area.
Police describe Tyler as 5-foot-8 tall with a medium build, short dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. The missing person also has a left wrist tattoo and was last seen wearing a grey and red sweater, blue jeans or beige khakis, a red ball cap and blue sneakers.
