There’s a big blast of winter expected to hit the region tonight.
Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for Grey County, while Bruce County is under a winter weather travel advisory.
Forecasters say snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 centimetres are expected tonight. The snow is expected to begin this evening and quickly become heavy at times.
“Heavy snow in combination with strong easterly winds will create significantly reduced visibility and hazardous travel conditions,” says the Environment Canada warning.
Forecasters say the snow should taper off by Saturday morning. The weather outlook on the tail end of the nasty weather is some sunshine for Grey Bruce later on tomorrow.
